They called EFS for a free inspection of their crawlspace and our Design Specialist recommended installing TerraBlock, SilverGlo, CleanSpace, and Rim Joist Insulation into the crawlspace to insulate it. This solution will prevent drafts and the floor from getting cold during the wintertime.

With concern that the leaking would get worse, she reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions in order to protect her investment.

After discussion with the homeowner, our Design Specialist, Mark Proctor, recommended installing two TripleSafe sump pump systems. One system was installed to replace the broken sump pump, and another was installed in a different location to ensure water is captured throughout the basement. This sump pump is guaranteed to pump water out of the home at all times due to our three-pump system. The first pump removes normal water levels throughout the home. A second pump is activated during events such as heavy rains or snow melting, making sure that the sump basin never overflows. A third battery-powered backup pump functions in emergency situations such as a power outage.

Once installed, these systems were cemented in place for a clean finish. The homeowner now has peace of mind that her finished basement will remain dry!
