A homeowner in Londonderry, New Hampshire, had built their around in the early 2000s and had the basement finished. In 2023 the rains and water table had caused water to leak into their basement. The water and moisture had caused damage and odors inside the home. They wanted to find a solution fast so they reached out to EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowner and inspected the basement. After the inspection, we recommended installing a full perimeter drainage system into the basement to protect the basement from further water penetration.

Our team proposed installing our TripleSafe Sump Pump and WaterGuard system. The WaterGuard system captures water at the perimeter of the basement and filters it to the TripleSafe. The water is then pumped outside of the house. We also installed our IceGuard mechanism to the plumbing of the sump pump, which allows water to flow freely if pipes were to freeze. This further protects the basement from flooding.

With this waterproofing system in place, this family can enjoy their dry basement with peace of mind. By fixing this problem early on, this homeowner is able to protect their assets and avoid rising costs of repair down the road.

Concerned with the concrete sinking further, he wanted to level and stabilize the concrete. Our Design Specialist, Bryan Barnard, recommended PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that fills voids between the sunken concrete and soil underneath it. After injecting the foam, the concrete is almost immediately restored to its original position. This process is much quicker and cost effective than replacing concrete or mudjacking.

Trip hazards are now neutralized, and an even concrete surface has been made. The pool space is now safe and has a more attractive look.
