A homeowner in Newton, Massachusetts, built their home three years ago and now was having concerns about radon in the basement. The homeowners use their basement for working out, and watching movies, and have a bedroom down there for the in-laws when they come to visit. They recently had the home tested for radon and found that the radon levels in the home were around 8 pCi/L. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection, and our design specialist recommended installing a radon mitigation system to reduce the levels of radon in their home.

This home in Watertown, MA had a raised foundation in the back. The back-filled soils on the inside of this wall were putting pressure outward and forcing it to bow and crack. GeoLocks and Push Piers were used to stabilize the wall from bowing and settling.

A Design Specialist arrived at the home and inspected the crawlspace. He recommended a Crawlspace Encapsulation. 

The EFS crew arrived at the home and installed a Crawlspace Encapsulation into the crawlspace. 

A homeowner in Arlington, Massachusetts, had concerns with the chimney and wall of their 100+-year-old home. The homeowners have lived in their home for 20+ years and over the past five years, they noticed chimney movement and water entering from their garage foundation wall. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our design specialist recommended installing Helical Piers to add stability to the chimney and the wall and then installing an Auxiliary Wall to the wall that the chimney was leaning on to add support to that wall. 

Our production team installed 4 Helical Piers to the foundation wall and then installed an Auxiliary wall to the foundation wall to stabilize the chimney.
