This homeowner in Mansfield, MA was concerned about the condition of their concrete driveway and patio that extended behind their home. The surface was uneven in some locations, which created some trip hazards and was overall unsightly. They wanted the area to look better, and did not want to have to tear out and replace any concrete. Our Erickson team proposed and installed PolyLevel to lift and stabilize the necessary sections of concrete. All the joints were also sealed with NexusPro to prevent water from flowing under and beneath the slabs. By sealing the joints, rain water is now directed to flow to the sides and not cause erosion problems any longer.  The homeowner wanted a proper solution and a project done right to not only solve the problems but also prevent future issues with the concrete as well.

This homeowner in Newton, Massachusetts currently have a radon system installed in their home but the radon fan is making noise. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection. 

Design Specialist Kenny Calabrese tested the home for radon and inspected the old radon system. The radon levels came back at 4.1 pCi/L which is slightly higher than the recommended amount. Kenny recommended removing the old radon mitigation system from the home and installing a new radon system with all new piping in the home. 

Crew Lead Dillon Kingsbury and his team removed the old radon system and then installed a new radon system where the old system was. 

A new owner of a home in Newton, Massachusetts, purchased their home about a week ago. During the pre-purchase inspection, it was brought to their attention that one of the foundation walls was bowing. This concerned the homeowners so they reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their foundation wall. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowner and examined the foundation wall. After the inspection, we recommend installing an Auxiliary Wall over the bowing wall. 

Our installation team installed a 41-foot Auxilary Wall over the bowing foundation to stabilize the foundation wall. 

This 3-season porch area had a crawlspace beneath it. The crawlspace was full of moisture and extremely damp, causing mold to form and leading to rot damage to the floor joists. Our EFS team replaced some damaged joists, supported the new floor system with SmartJacks, and encapsulated the crawlspace with CleanSpace to protect the home against further rot or mold.

A homeowner in Atkinson, New Hampshire, had seen cracks and slow settlement in their garage. EFS installed PolyLevel and NexusPro to the slab to lift, level, and seal the garage slab.
