A homeowner in Andover, Massachusetts, had been experiencing water entering their basement since they bought the home a couple of years ago. They had plans to finish the basement in the future but couldn't because of the water issue. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended installing a perimeter drainage and radon system in the basement to prevent water and radon from entering the basement.
This homeowner was concerned with the concrete near their pool steps being uneven. The joint where two concrete slabs met was uneven, as one side had settled over the years. The also forced the joint sealer to split, leaving an unsightly gap or tear.
Rather than replace the concrete, which would be costly and disruptive for their patio, the were pleased to know PolyLevel slab injection was an option. Repairs took less than a day, and they were able to continue using their patio within minutes of installation. Once the slab was leveled, NexusPro was also applied to tidy up the joint and seal it correctly.
A homeowner in Andover, Massachusetts, had a radon system installed in their home to lower the radon levels. This year they welcomed a child into the world and tested their home for radon again. The results of the test were higher than anticipated, so they reached out to EFS again to have another system installed in their home to lower the radon levels below 4.0 pCi/L.
This homeowner in Andover, Massachusetts, purchased their home in 2019 and it was tested for radon upon purchase. The radon levels in the house came back at an average of 5.3 pCi/L. The homeowners didn't act on installing a radon system right away but in 2023 they called EFS for an inspection of their home. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowner and recommended and designed a radon mitigation system for their home. Our team arrived at the home and installed the system and gave the homeowner a charcoal test to test the radon levels about a week after installation.
They tested the home and confirmed the results of the test were below 4.0 pCi/L.
This homeowner in Andover, Massachusetts, had noticed cracks forming in the wall of their foundation. The cracks had gotten more significant over time due to settlement and had started to leak water. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection and to help determine the best solution. After the inspection was completed by our Design Specialist, we recommended installing 8 Push Piers and FlexiSpan around the front left corner of the home to stabilize the foundation and seal the cracks that were allowing water into the basement. The piers were the ideal permanent solution, ensuring no further settlement would occur.
