These homeowners in Portsmouth, New Hampshire recently bought their home in 2019 and had concerns with the radon levels. Shortly after moving into the home, they tested the home for radon. They wanted peace of mind knowing that the air in their home is mitigated from radon. So they decided to call EFS for a free inspection.

The home had two chambers, meaning they had a standard basement and a crawlspace off of the basement. The basement was mostly finished and the crawlspace was covered with crushed stone. One of the extraction points was installed on the unfinished side of the basement and the other was installed in the crawlspace. The radon fan was installed on the exterior of the home to expel the radon-filled air into the air outside the home where it can dissipate.
