A homeowner in Concord, New Hampshire, had water and critters entering their basement. They called EFS for a free inspection, and our Design Specialist recommended installing PolyLevel Wall Restoration, new lally columns, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier in the basement. The poly will seal up the foundation wall to prevent water and critters from entering the basement. Next, the team replaced the supports with lally columns to add support to the aging floor system. Lastly, the team installed the SaniDry Sedona in the basement to control the humidity in the basement.
A homeowner in Concord, New Hampshire, had lived in their home for the past 52 years with little to no issues. Over the last 3 years, the homeowners have noticed water entering the basement during rain storms and snow melting. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection, and our design specialist recommended installing an UltraSump, 8 feet of WaterGuard, and an IceGuard.
Our production team installed the UltraSump and WaterGuard against the basement wall and successfully stopped the water from collecting in the basement.
Homeowners in Pepperell, Massachusetts noticed a few months ago that water would infiltrate the basement. This was odd for them, because they already had a sump pump installed. As time went on, water would enter the foundation from all angles during heavy remains and snow melt off. This caused concern because the basement was used for storage space. With the problem worsening, they wanted a company that they could trust to get the job done right.
After reaching out to our team, a Design Specialist went out to the home to conduct a free home inspection. We recommended replacing the sump pump with our TripleSafe sump pump system, as well as perimeter drainage. This system captures water along the entire border of the foundation and filters it to the pump, where it is then expelled out of the home through an exterior discharge line. Our three-pump system ensures that water will always be properly pumped out of the home. One pump handles normal water levels at 1/3 horsepower. The second pump is activated when water levels rise, such as heavy rains or snow melting as mentioned earlier. Finally, a battery-powered back up pump operates during loss of power.
With this waterproofing system in place, these homeowners are guaranteed to have a dry basement. They now have peace of mind that the belongings in their storage space are safe.
