Crushed stone was placed in the basin along with the sump pump, and then cemented into place. The interior drainage line was connected to the sump pump so water could safely be removed from the home. Once the plumbing reached outside, IceGuard, a system that prevents pipes from freezing and getting backed up, was installed to the exterior drainage line. With the exterior drainage line in place, it could then be buried.

With all systems in place, water will be safely redirected away from the house and leave the utilities dry and unharmed.
