This homeowner in Brookline, New Hampshire, had lived in their home for the past 4 years. Last year they had seen water penetrating into their basement. It seemed like the water was entering the basement from the bulkhead. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist Anthony Brancato met with the homeowners and talked about their concerns. After talking about the problem they were having, Anthony inspected the basement to find a solution to their problem. Anthony confirmed that the water was entering from the bulkhead he recommended replacing the bulkhead and installing a new one. 

Our Installation Team led by Eric Witham began by removing the old bulkhead. We then installed the new bulkhead and made sure to seal everything so the bulkhead couldn't leak water into the basement.

A homeowner in Brookline, New Hampshire, built their home in 1990. After 10 years of living in the home, they decided to build a garage in 2000. Now over 20 years later the homeowner has seen some cracks growing wider on the left side of their garage. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our design specialist recommended installing 9 Push Piers on the left side of the garage to prevent the foundation from sinking any more. 

Our team began by digging down to the footing of the foundation wall. Once they exposed the footing of the left side of the garage the team chipped out small sections of the footing so they could attach the Push Pier bracket. After the bracket was installed the team used a hydraulic press to push the piers below the garage until sufficient pressure was found to stabilize the foundation of the home. Once the piers were set to the correct pressure the team sprayed PolyLevel over each bracket to serve as frost mitigation. After that, the team backfilled all the dirt and smoothed it over for the customer. 

The homeowner was pleased with the results of their project. 

A homeowner in Brookline, New Hampshire, had called EFS because groundwater was entering their garage and causing the slab to sink. Our design specialist recommended using PolyLevel to lift the concrete. The production crew injected PolyLevel under the garage slab to lift it.  The homeowners were very happy to have water no longer collecting in their garage. 

This commercial property owner in Brookline, New Hampshire had been experiencing water coming through the rear foundation wall. Constant tenant complaints have led her to get her commercial property repaired. This property is the retirement for this owner and she would like to protect and preserve the property for years to come. With help from good referrals, she decided to call EFS for a free inspection. 

Design Specialist Stephen Caron inspected the building. Stephen found long cracks on the 12' foundation wall on the back of the building. When Stephen inspected the crawlspace he noticed there was a high amount of moisture down there. Stephen recommended installing some crack injection to seal the cracks on the foundation wall along with some SilverGlo in some areas, all cracks to have a crack monitor installed, and 2 SaniDry systems installed in the crawlspace to reduce the moisture. 

Crew Lead Nick Melo and his team arrived at the home and installed 60' of crack injection, 60 sqft of SilverGlo, and 2 SaniDry dehumidifiers. 

This homeowner in Brookline, New Hampshire was experiencing water in his basement. He had previously had cracks sealed in his basement that are now leaking again. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection. 

A design specialist arrived at the home and inspected the basement. He found the cracks that were allowing water to enter the basement. He also found an old sump pump that was having trouble keeping up. The design specialist recommended resealing the cracks in the basement and then installing a new sump pump to keep the basement dry. 

A crew from EFS arrived at the home and sealed the cracks with Crack Seal and then installed a new Ultra Sump with Battery Backup. 

Erin D. of Brookline, NH reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions regarding her home's sagging floors. It was an old home built in the early 1800's, and though repairs and updates had been made over the years, support columns in the basement were not properly supporting the weight of the floors above. As a direct result of the sagging floors, some of the doors in the home were sticking and dragging on the floors. Additionally the humidty levels in the basement were very high, and although there was no standing water, the humid air was creating poor air conditions in the home and had the potential to lead to worse problems over time.

Design specialist Paul Magowan designed and proposed addressing the sagging floor issues with SmartJack support posts. He also recommended installation of a SaniDry dehumidifer system to assist with improving the humidy concerns. 

Crew lead Jon Provost and his team were able to complete the installation of 4 SmartJack posts and the SaniDry dehumidifier system in a single day. The SmartJack's replaced 3 failing lally columns, and another was added to help with slightly jacking up the floors that had sagged. 

With the floors stabilized (and the doors above no longer sticking or dragging), and the air quality improved, Erin is looking forward to the house being able to last another 100 years or more.
