The bump addition on this home in New Boston was settling over time. It was supported by 3 concrete pillars, all of which had failed and were sinking. Our team proposed and installed 3 EZ Post helical piles to replace the concrete pillars. The EZ posts are permanent and will not settle.
A 1920s home in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, had been purchased two years ago and the home inspector noticed that the floor system was sagging. The homeowner called EFS for a free inspection of the basement and the supports. Our Design Specialist inspected the basement and recommended installing 7 SmartJacks in the basement to eliminate the sagging and add support to the floor system. Our team installed the new supports and lift-up on the floor system to level them and stabilize them.
This homeowner in Milford, New Hampshire noticed one day that there was a crack in the foundation of their garage. Soon after they noticed that first crack a second crack started to form. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the foundation of the garage. Michael found that the foundation wall of the garage was beginning to bow and that is causing the foundation to start to crack. After Michael's inspection, he recommended installing Geolocks into the garage.

This homeowner in Milford, NH was concerned with a crack they discovered in their basement foundation wall beneath a cast iron drainage pipe. The crack had been there for several years, however over the past year had started leaking small amounts of water. The amount of water coming in through the crack also did not warrant a perimeter waterproofing system. The best solution was for this type of crack was Flexispan crack seal. Our service technician, Branden Edwards, completed the Flexispan installation in half a day, and also recommended a SaniDry dehumidifier for the basement since the humidity rating was above 70%.
After a clear design and installation process, and the crack being properly sealed, the homeowner was very pleased with the results.
