This homeowner in Lowell, Massachusetts was experiencing sloping in the main living floor. The homeowner decided to call EFS about a free inspection. 

A design specialist arrived at the home and inspected the basement. The design specialist recommended replacing the support posts in the basement. 

Rental property in Lowell, Massachusetts needed to stabilize the floor above with Smart Jacks. 

A landlord in Lowell, Massachusetts wants to remodel the kitchen floor before a new tenant moves in.  He noticed that the floors were uneven, preventing the work from being done. This led to concern regarding the stability of the home. Looking to level and stabilize the floor, he reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.

Our Design Specialist, Mark Proctor, provided a free home inspection. In order to lift, level, and stabilize the floor, he recommended installing SmartJacks in the basement. SmartJacks, similar to Lally columns, are adjustable support posts that provide superior support to the home. These posts attach to a galvanized steel plate that is cemented into the foundation. They are then connected to a support beam. The adjustable jacks are then raised to lift and level the floors. Our installation crew removed the previous wooden Lally columns and installed 8 SmartJacks.

Sagging floors no longer prevent the kitchen from being remodeled. The homeowner now has peace of mind that the work being done in the kitchen is protected from floors settling.

The owner of a Condominium in Lowell, Massachusetts, had a horizontal crack on their foundation from the neighboring condo pressing against their foundation. The owners contacted their property management group from their condo association. The PM group looked at the problem and decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Project Manager/ Design Specialist Nate recommended using Helical Anchors to stabilize the foundation wall and then using Crack Injection to seal the horizontal crack on the wall. 

Our team installed 7 Helical Anchors and 27' of Crack Injection to the wall.
