We provided them with a radon mitigation system, designed to draw radon gas from the soil beneath their home. This is achieved by creating an extraction point in the home's foundation, constructing PVC pipe to the exterior of the home, installing a radon fan to the pipe, and then constructing more pipe that surpasses the roof line for safe removal. With a radon system now installed in their home, this family has the peace of mind that their house is safeguarded, especially with an attached monometer that shows the system is operating correctly.
