A homeowner in Lawrence, Massachusetts, lived in a home that is a part of a religious community. The house had stair-step cracks on the foundation walls that concerned the homeowner. The homeowner contacted a contractor that specialized in foundation repair. Our design specialist John recommended installing Geolocks to the foundation wall to add support to the wall.
Our production team began by sending a rod through the foundation wall and through a block porch wall. The team used the porch wall to add support to the foundation wall by using the rod and Geolock plates. After the team sent each of the 7 rods through the foundation wall and block porch wall, the team secured the Geolock plates to either end of the rods and used an impact gun to begin tightening the plates. The team tightened each plate until the tension started to move the walls. After each plate was tightened, the team equipped each plate on the exterior of the home with a Hide-A-Way Anchor Cover to conceal the plates on the exterior of the home.
