A homeowner in Reading, Massachusetts was concerned with their broken concrete walkway on the side of their home. The uneven surface had created tripping hazards and an unappealing look. He reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions looking for a permanent solution that was also quick and affordable.
Our Design Specialist, Kenneth Calabrese, recommended installing PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete. This polyurethane foam is injected underneath the concrete slab to fill voids in the soil. This is a much more affordable and quicker option compared to replacing the concrete, all while providing a finished product that will last. Once the concrete was lifted and leveled, our Installation Specialist applied NexusPro to concrete joints and cracks. This ensures the long-term health of the concrete, preventing cracking and further settling. It also makes for an attractive finish.
With the job complete, a safe and aesthetically pleasing walkway is now in place. The homeowner was very satisfied.

We recommended replacing the existing cinder block supports with 12 SmartJacks and Supplemental beams to stabilize and level the floors.

After receiving a free inspection and a detailed proposal outlining the benefits of PolyLevel, they decided to hire Erickson Foundation Solutions for the repairs.

The coping around this pool in North Andover had separated from the concrete pool deck as the patio settled over the years. When our team arrived, the concrete had settled up to 2 inches in some spots. This created a dangerous trip hazard around the perimeter of the pool.
After installation of PolyLevel, this joint was near level, and the trip hazard had disappeared. Rather than rip out and replace all the concrete, this solution was cost effective and quick, as repairs took a single day.
