The common method of repairing basement wall cracks involves an injection of a polyurethane material that generally will fail over time due. This material dries into a firm substance that can't move with a wall. Since concrete naturally shrinks and is subject to pressure from soils, it's essential to have a crack repair system that can work with the wall's movement. FlexiSpan is the ideal solution to this problem. This flexible sealant is made of open cell foam and waterproof sealant.

FlexiSpan is designed to move with a wall, ensuring that the entire crack is sealed even if there is a change in the wall. This is a permanent solution that installs smoothly over a wall, and its neutral color will fit with a concrete wall. FlexiSpan can easily be covered up with a basement finishing product as well.

This concrete stoop on a home in Wakefield, MA had settled up to 3 inches in some sections. As the slab settled, cracks formed and started to become unsafe and unsightly. Our concrete repair team of Chris and Nick were able to lift and level the slab using PolyLevel.

Our Design Specialist, Nikki Burke, recommended installing SmartJacks to support the home and stabilize the floors. This homeowner already had Lally columns all throughout her basement, but they could not provide the proper support that was needed. SmartJacks offer more support by inserting a galvanized steel plate into the foundation. This steel plate sits on a sturdy base of crushed stone. The galvanized steel post is then attached to the plate, and also connects to a supplemental beam. Once installed, they are cemented in place.

The SmartJacks not only prevented the floor from sinking further, but they also raised and leveled the floor as well. This homeowner was thrilled that the sagging and uneven floors had been fixed, and that the structure of her home is now properly supported!

A homeowner in Wakefield, Massachusetts was concerned with tripping hazards that formed on his concrete deck. This was due to settling over the years, which also caused cracks. Our Design Specialist, Kenneth Calabrese, recommended installing PolyLevel and NexusPro to lift, level, and stabilize the concrete. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that is injected underneath the concrete slab, instantly providing lift. Our installation crew then levels the concrete, thus eliminating trip hazards. With the concrete lifted and leveled, NexusPro is then installed to seal concrete joints and cracks. This silicone-based sealant prevents further settling and cracking, while offering an attractive aesthetic to the concrete deck.

After seeing the final result, the homeowner was thrilled to have a safe and attractive looking deck.
