In Revere, MA, we were called to address a homeowner's concerns of sinking floors and excessive humidity in their basement. Notice in the before photo the instability and musty conditions caused by weakened joists. Our solution involved the installation of the SmartJack System and the SaniDry Sedona. As seen in the after photo, the SmartJack efficiently stabilized and lifted the floor to its original position, while the SaniDry Sedona reduced humidity, effectively preventing mold and eliminating odors. We delivered a stable and healthy living environment for this homeowner.
In Center Barnstead, NH, a homeowner faced significant water intrusion problems in their basement, jeopardizing their living space. Initial inspection revealed that their previous sump pump failed to prevent water seepage, necessitating the removal of drywall due to mold risks. To resolve this, we installed our CleanSpace, WaterGuard, and TripleSafe Sump Pump systems. These installations worked together to ensure effective moisture control and a fully dry basement environment. With this enhanced protection, the homeowner's basement is now a safe and stable part of their home, free from future water intrusion concerns.
As seen in the photo, this Franklin, NH home's block foundation wall was curving inward with stairstep cracks. The initial concern was wall stability—a common foundation problem that affects many homes. Erickson Foundation Solutions resolved this by implementing our PowerBrace System. By securing zinc-plated steel beams firmly against the wall with strategically placed brackets, we ensured long-term stability for the homeowner. Over time, these beams can be adjusted, not only stopping future inward movement but also potentially reversing the damage. Our professional approach creates safer, stable homes for our community.
This homeowner in Bedford, Massachusetts had some moisture issues in the crawlspace below the home. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the narrow crawlspace. Michael noticed some signs of moisture in the crawlspace but he also found early signs of mold too. Michael recommended installing Drainage Matting as a base layer of the crawlspace, then having CleanSpace installed over the Drainage Matting to seal out moisture from the crawlspace.
Crew Lead Nick Carelli and his team arrived at the home and entered the small crawlspace and installed Drainage Matting and CleanSpace.
