A homeowner in Fremont, New Hampshire, had lived in their 1920s home for over a decade and had seen water leaking through their old bulkhead door. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their bulkhead to find a solution to prevent water from seeping into the basement. 

Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners and inspected the bulkhead door and determined that the wooden and concrete base had given way to allow water to flow into the basement. Our specialist recommended replacing the bulkhead with a new one. Before leaving the home our specialist measured the bulkhead so our installation team could install the correct size door. 

Our installation team arrived at the home and replaced the old bulkhead door with our new one. 

A Multi-Family home in Dedham, Massachusetts, is being run by the son of the owner. The son lived on the main floor of the building and tenants lived on the 2 floors above. A few years ago the son noticed some issues with the floors pulling away from the wall. They called EFS for a free inspection of their floor system. We recommended installing SmartJacks to stabilize the floor system. 

Before addressing the issue: the homeowner's pool deck in Dedham, MA, was unlevel and navigating it posed significant trip hazards. Our team stepped in with a solution that combined effectiveness and longevity. By using the PolyLevel® system, we stabilized and leveled the deck using high-strength polyurethane foam—visible in the after photo's even surface. Following this, we applied NexusPro® Joint Sealant to maintain this stability by sealing joints, preventing water infiltration. Thanks to precision techniques and reliable materials, we've ensured a safe, long-lasting enhancement to the homeowner's space.

This homeowner from Nottingham, New Hampshire wanted to get their home radon tested. Design Specialist Paul Magowan came to the home and administered a radon test. The results of the test came back at 11.8 pCi/L which is high. After the test, the homeowners wanted to know their options for installing a Radon Mitigation System. Paul Magowan proposed a radon system that would fit their home. Crew Lead Brendan Edwards and his team came to the home and installed a new Radon Mitigation System.

This lake-side home in Nottingham, New Hampshire, had supports at the back of their home that were rusted and failing. They reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their home. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowner inspected the foundation and recommended installing Helical Piers on the back of the home and encased them in an Auxiliary Wall. We installed the Helical Piers and then set up our forms and encased the piers in concrete to lock them into place.
