The foundation of this home in Woburn, MA was built on and within ledge rock. Over time, soils moved and the walls were shifting and cracking. With so much ledge, there were few options available for repairs. However, PowerBraces were the perfect solution, along with pouring a new, reinforced wall to contain and enhance the system.

Michael LaMalfa was the Design Specialist on this project. He designed an effective solution to a cracked and bowing foundation wall. He proposed Geolocks to stop the wall from bowing. Then, pour a secondary auxillary wall to reinforce it entirely, as well as dress it up a bit.
The before pictures show the wall had bulges from its bowing. The after picture shows what it looked like after the auxillary wall was poured.
This homeowner in Woburn, MA was experiencing water entering their basement. They have a finished section of their basement and would like to protect it from water entering the basement.
A Design Specialist inspected the basement. The specialist recommended installing a Water Guard system along the perimeter of the basement, a SuperSump, and an Ice Guard.

This homeowner in Woburn, Massachusetts had recently moved into their home 2 months ago. Upon moving into the home, they planned on finishing part of the basement to create a second living room. Before they started finishing the basement they tested for radon. The results of their test were 12 pCi/L which is well over the recommended amount. After they received the results of their radon test they decided to reach out to contractors in the area that installed radon mitigation systems. They found Erickson Foundation Solutions and decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist John Prince inspected the basement. John recommended installing a radon mitigation system to be installed in the home.
Crew Lead Dillon Kingsbury and his team installed the radon mitigation system into the home and reduced the radon in the home to a safe level.
