This homeowner in Lee, New Hampshire has lived in their home since it was built in 2005. In the last 3 years, they have seen a crack start to form in the foundation wall of their detached garage and get larger every year. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their garage. Our Design Specialist Victor Tapia met with the homeowner and inspected the garage. Victor found that the crack was getting larger because the wall was bowing outward and needed to be stabilized to stop the wall from continuing to bow.
This homeowner was concerned with the sagging floors in his home. The support columns in the basement beneath the floor joists were very narrow and not properly supporting the weight of the home above. Per the city of Everett's building requirements, our Erickson Foundation team replaced the unstable posts with new lally columns in various locations throughout the basement. Some of the new columns also included a top plate of a steel I-beam to assist with distributing the weight over several feet rather than just at single points.
This homeowner in Boxford, Massachusetts was having a radon issue in their home. They had their house tested by an outside source and they told the homeowner that their radon levels were too high. The homeowner called Erickson and had Design Specialist Brian Allen come out and look at the home. Brian designed a radon mitigation system for the homeowners. The Crew Lead Scott Crandall and his team successfully installed a new custom radon mitigation system for this home.
This homeowner in Boxford, Massachusetts had recently moved into a new home. This home was a new construction that had very high radon levels. The house came installed with a pipe already in the foundation. The homeowner called Erickson and a Design Specialist Michael Bierdrzycki came to design a radon system. The Crew Lead Scott Crandall and his team successfully installed a custom Radon system in the home.
A sunroom in Boxford, Massachusetts needs to be stabilized. The roof needs to be replaced but first, the sunroom needs to be stabilized. To stabilize the sunroom the homeowner called EFS. EFS installed 6 EZ posts and 3 SmartJacks with a Supplemental beam.
