This homeowner in Georgetown, Massachusetts had been living in their home for the past 23 years, and in the past 7-8 months they began worrying about radon in their home. They wanted to learn more about radon and the health risks, so they decided to call EFS for a free inspection and some information about radon.
Design Specialist Michael Bradley spent some time with the homeowners talking about radon. Michael answered the questions that the homeowners asked. After the long discussion about radon, Michael recommended to the homeowner to have a radon mitigation system installed in their home.
A homeowner in Georgetown, Massachusetts, has lived in their home for the past 17 years. Many of those years had them dealing with a crack in their garage that was leaking water. The homeowner wanted to solve this problem after it being a nuisance on and off for approximately a decade. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of the crack in the garage. The home was made in the 1800s and the homeowners have seen over the last decade that the walls seem to be flexing inward. After the inspection, the Design Specialist recommended installing an Auxiliary Wall over the bulging wall to prevent further movement.

They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of the porch to determine what had caused this issue. Our Design Specialist discovered that the difficulty of opening and closing the doors and windows stemmed from the supports under the porch being settled. We recommended installing 3 Helical Piers with porch brackets under the porch to stabilize it.
