Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Methuen, Massachusetts, purchased their home about a year ago. The homeowner used the basement as a workout and storage area. The basement currently is equipped with a sump pump but the homeowner would like to have an extra layer of protection installed into the basement. Our Design Specialist inspected the basement and recommended installing perimeter drainage around the entire basement. This system will collect water from the corners of the basement and direct it toward the sump pump. 

Homeowners in Methuen, Massachusetts removed drywall in the finished basement to discover water leaking through the foundation wall. With an old sump pump already installed, the homeowners realized they needed a better waterproofing system to keep the basement dry all the time. Our Design Specialist, Tom Armano, recommended installing WaterGuard perimeter drainage and our UltraSump sump pump. This system is designed to waterproof the basement by collecting water from outside wet soil before coming in contact with the interior basement, delivering it to the sump pump, and safely pumping it out of the home through an exterior discharge line. IceGuard is installed to the discharge plumbing system to prevent frozen pipes, which eliminates the possibility of pipes bursting or backing up, resulting in basement flooding.

With the basement now fully waterproofed, this homeowner has peace of mind that the finished basement is protected from water.
