A homeowner in Boston, Massachusetts, had recently finished their basement. They found that water from rainstorms was directed towards the home's foundation by their concrete deck. The EFS production team injected PolyLevel under the concrete deck to pitch the concrete slabs away from the home and help protect their basement from water damage.
These homeowners in South Hampton, NH were remodeling their back deck and looking to add some long steps down to their concrete patio and inground pool. However, the existing concrete in this area was in poor condition. Over the years, it had cracked and settled significantly. They did not want to replace the concrete, as most of it was going to be covered by the new stairs anyways. Our specialist arrived and explained how PolyLevel was the ideal solution.
Using PolyLevel, our production team successfully lifted the settled concrete back to a stable and level position. The homeowners were then able to build their decking steps down onto the slab with no concerns. The large cracks were sealed with NexusPro, a silicone based caulking specifically designed for outdoor applications. They were very pleased with the results and were able to continue their deck and patio renovation project.
A homeowner in Amesbury, Massachusetts, had moved into their home about a year ago. They spent a lot of time by the pool this past summer and noticed tripping hazards around their pool deck. A homeowner in Amesbury, Massachusetts, had their water main burst and it washed away dirt from under the slab in their basement. The water washed away approximately 4" of water from beneath the slab. They have already seen the slab in their basement begin to shift and they would like to prevent further movement/ damage. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their home. Our design specialist recommended spraying PolyLevel underneath the concrete slab to fill the void.
