A homeowner in Andover, Massachusetts was not satisfied with the state of their concrete deck. The concrete was cracked and unlevel. Looking to revitalize their deck, they reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.
Our Design Specialist, Tom Armano, recommended installing PolyLevel and NexusPro to restore the concrete. Our installation crew, led by Nick Melo, injected PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam, underneath the concrete slab. This filled voids underneath the concrete, instantly lifting and stabilizing it. After our team leveled the concrete, NexusPro was applied to joints and cracks. This prevents settling and further cracking in the future.
Now that the concrete is repaired, the deck has been brought back to life. Tripping hazards have been eliminated, and the deck looks great! The deck is going to look even better when our crew returns to apply DecoShield, a translucent tinted concrete sealer.
Before addressing the issue: the homeowner's pool deck in Dedham, MA, was unlevel and navigating it posed significant trip hazards. Our team stepped in with a solution that combined effectiveness and longevity. By using the PolyLevel® system, we stabilized and leveled the deck using high-strength polyurethane foam—visible in the after photo's even surface. Following this, we applied NexusPro® Joint Sealant to maintain this stability by sealing joints, preventing water infiltration. Thanks to precision techniques and reliable materials, we've ensured a safe, long-lasting enhancement to the homeowner's space.

In Winchester, MA, the back of the homeowner’s pool deck was affected by settling, creating a two-inch gap near the diving board and resulting in a potential trip hazard, as you can see in the before photo. To tackle this issue, we used our PolyLevel® method, injecting high-strength polyurethane foam to stabilize, lift, and level the uneven concrete. It expanded to bring the slab back into position.
