Foundation Problems Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Pepperell, Massachusetts, had found a crack in the foundation wall of their garage. Water would periodically enter the garage and they would like to prevent that from happening. A homeowner in Pepperell, Massachusetts, had lived in their home for almost 50 years. The home was built in 1949 and the homeowner had done some remodeling during the time living in their home. Over the past two years, they have noticed some of the finished work in the first level of the home begin to crack and slope. They would like to have the supports in the crawlspace looked at. The homeowner reached out to EFS for a free inspection and our design specialist recommended installing SmartJacks into the crawlspace to support the floor above. 

This homeowner in Groton, Massachusetts recently got their oil tank installed in the basement. When the tank was being installed the homeowner noticed that the rock wall near the oil tank was crumbling and chunks appeared to be falling off the wall. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection.

Design Specialist Kenny Calabrese inspected the basement and the rock wall foundation. Kenny confirmed that the wall is crumbling and recommended a solution. Kenny had noticed some of the support posts in the basement seemed weak. Kenny's recommended solution is to install an Auxiliary wall to the section of the wall that is crumbling and to replace some of the supports in the basement with SmartJacks.

A Design Specialist inspected their basement and recommended installing an auxiliary wall underneath the piece of granite to help support it. 

The EFS crew installed the auxiliary wall under the granite piece.
