The homeowners wanted to find a company that would repair their problems the right way the first time. They reached out to EFS for a free inspection and we recommended installing PolyLevel and NexusPro to the walkway to lift, level, and seal it.
This homeowner in Somerset, MA was very concerned about the condition of the concrete walkway at the front of her home. The concrete slabs were cracked in various sections, leaning and sloping unevenly, and overall were unsightly and a tripping hazard. This commercial building owner in Haverhill, Massachusetts is planning on selling their building. They recently noticed sagging in the rear of the building. They would like to repair the sag before trying to sell the building. The owner felt the sag would be a sticking point in the sale of the building. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Stephen Caron inspected the building. During his inspection, Stephen noticed that the joist in the basement had water damage and are rotting where they meet the foundation wall. He also found that the rear corner of the building is sagging around 4.75". Stephen recommended installing SmartJacks with supplemental beams to add support to the building and eliminate the sagging in the building. Stephen recommended having a carpenter come out to reinforce the joists in the basement.
Crew Lead Ed Nadreau and his team installed 5 SmartJacks on the right side of the building to stabilize the floor and bring it back to its original position. The owner can now feel confident in selling their building.
