After lifting and stabilizing the concrete, our production team also applied DecoShield, which acts as a concrete sealant to prevent water from seeping into the concrete. This sealant material also had a gray tint, and so the surface of the concrete looks new again. A homeowner in Methuen Massachusetts, had lived in their home for the past 7 years. They have always had a sump pump system installed in their basement but the pump was pumping constantly. They decided they would like to upgrade their current system. They contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions to inspect their home and look at their current system. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowner and recommended installing a new sump pump system in their basement. Our Specialist recommended installing a SuperSump, SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, IceGuard, and Exterior Drainage Line to the home to pump and carry water away from the foundation of the home. 

This homeowner in Stoneham, Massachusetts, had an issue with drafts and moisture that were causing the floors in the home to be cold during the winter. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their crawlspace. Our Design Specialist recommended installing PolyWall Restoration, CleanSpace, TerraBlock, and a SaniDry Sedona into the crawlspace to address their concerns. 

This homeowner in Reading, MA was concerned with the condition of the concrete walkway leading up to their front door. Over the years as water eroded away the soil base of the walkway, the slabs began to sink and shift in various directions. This left an uneven surface that was not only unsightly, but also full of trip hazards. The owner was looking for a solution that did not require replacing the entire walkway, and our Erickson team proposed and installed the solution they needed.

To remove the grit and grime build up, our team first pressure washed the concrete surface. To level and stabilize the concrete slabs, they then injected PolyLevel, a polymer foam which expands and fills voids. Once the trip hazards were leveled out and the concrete was even, the final step included sealing the joints with NexusPro silicone, and sealing the surface with SealantPro. This surface sealant ensures that the porous concrete surface will no longer absorb rainwater (or snow melt), and so prolongs the life of the concrete.  In the after photo, the green tint is within the sealant spray, which helps the installer visually as he applies the material. As it dries, the tint fades and leaves nothing but a clear concrete surface.

This walkway has been fixed and protected, ensuring it will last for years to come.

The coping around this pool in North Andover had separated from the concrete pool deck as the patio settled over the years. When our team arrived, the concrete had settled up to 2 inches in some spots. This created a dangerous trip hazard around the perimeter of the pool.

After installation of PolyLevel, this joint was near level, and the trip hazard had disappeared. Rather than rip out and replace all the concrete, this solution was cost effective and quick, as repairs took a single day.
