A business owner in Conway, New Hampshire noticed his foundation slab was starting to sink in the back right corner of his warehouse. Cracks were also forming throughout the rest of the slab. It was very important that this business had level floors. They reached out to our Erickson team for a permanent solution.
Our Design Specialist, Jason Vachon, recommended installing PolyLevel to lift and stabilize the concrete. This polyurethane foam is injected under the concrete to fill voids in the soil and lift the concrete back to its original place. This lifted the corner of the slab in the warehouse 3 1/2 inches. With PolyLevel also being installed under the rest of the warehouse slab, the amount of settlement will be reduced, resulting in less cracks in the floor.
The installation process was quick and efficient. The business owner was thrilled that his concrete slab is now lifted and level.
A homeowner in Center Barnstead, New Hampshire, had seen a crack start to form in their garage around 5 years ago. They have seen the crack get larger and decided they wanted to have it sealed. They called EFS and we found that the crack was caused by the concrete slab settling. We then recommended installing 3 Helical Piers under the right side of the garage, then using PolyLevel to lift and level the slab, and finally sealing the crack using NexusPro.
Faced with frozen pipes, falling lally columns, and rotted wood, the homeowners in Bedford, MA knew they needed to reinforce their haven. As shown in the before photo, the crawl space was in dire need of attention. That’s where we stepped in. We installed SmartJacks for reinforced support, encapsulated the area with CleanSpace, and ensured it stayed dry with StarPipe drainage, a TripleSafe Sump Pump, and a SaniDry Sedona.
In the after photo, you can see how we not only secured the structure’s integrity but also safeguarded their home investment. Now, they can rest easy knowing their foundation is on solid ground again.
A homeowner in Attleboro, Massachusetts has been living with a sunken driveway since he purchased the home in 2005. Over time, settling caused the problem to worsen. Looking to lift and level the concrete, he reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.
Our Design Specialist recommended using PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete. This polyurethane foam is injected underneath the slabs to fill voids between the soil and concrete. After raising and leveling the concrete, NexusPro was used to seal the joints. NexusPro is the superior sealant due to its resistance to UV rays, preventing drying and bubbling. With the joints and cracks sealed, water is unable to get underneath the concrete, which can cause shifting and further cracking.
The homeowner was shocked that the concrete in his driveway rose up 3 inches. His driveway will now be permanently stabilized and level.
