A homeowner in Lincoln, Massachusetts, has lived in their home for the past 40 years. Years back they noticed moisture and minor seepage in their crawlspace. The problem continued for years until this year when the homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their crawlspace. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners and talked about their concerns before the specialist inspected the crawlspace. After the inspection, our specialist recommended installing CleanSpace into the crawlspace to encapsulate the space and installing a SaniDry Sedona to control the moisture. This system will prevent water from seeping into the crawlspace and also control the moisture.
A business owner in Conway, New Hampshire noticed his foundation slab was starting to sink in the back right corner of his warehouse. Cracks were also forming throughout the rest of the slab. It was very important that this business had level floors. They reached out to our Erickson team for a permanent solution.
Our Design Specialist, Jason Vachon, recommended installing PolyLevel to lift and stabilize the concrete. This polyurethane foam is injected under the concrete to fill voids in the soil and lift the concrete back to its original place. This lifted the corner of the slab in the warehouse 3 1/2 inches. With PolyLevel also being installed under the rest of the warehouse slab, the amount of settlement will be reduced, resulting in less cracks in the floor.
The installation process was quick and efficient. The business owner was thrilled that his concrete slab is now lifted and level.
A homeowner in Center Barnstead, New Hampshire, had seen a crack start to form in their garage around 5 years ago. They have seen the crack get larger and decided they wanted to have it sealed. They called EFS and we found that the crack was caused by the concrete slab settling. We then recommended installing 3 Helical Piers under the right side of the garage, then using PolyLevel to lift and level the slab, and finally sealing the crack using NexusPro.
In Franklin, NH, a homeowner faced a challenge: a deteriorating fieldstone foundation risking stability. Our solution redefined the space. We removed the unstable top portion and reinforced the base using the PowerBrace System to stabilize the lower foundation. Next, the StableLock secured the entire wall's integrity. We then added a masonry wall topper, restoring the open area. Concluding the repair, we replaced the basement window. These enhancements illustrate our foundation expertise and commitment to permanent solutions.
